Google Pixel 10a
Released just last week on March 5, 2026, the Google Pixel 10a is the newest addition to the Pixel family. While the flagship Pixel 10 moved to the new TSMC-made Tensor G5, the 10a sticks with the Tensor G4 from the previous year. It is defined by a new "flush" design where the iconic camera bar has been leveled off to sit perfectly flat against the back of the phone.
Core Specifications
5,100 mAh (Up to 24+ hours of use)
Charging
30W Wired (Upgraded), 10W Wireless (Standard Qi)
Durability
IP68 Rated, Gorilla Glass 7i (Front)
Key Highlights
-
The "Flat" Design: The most striking change is the removal of the raised camera "visor." The dual cameras now sit flush within the chassis, giving the phone a smooth, uniform back that doesn't wobble when lying on a table.
-
Satellite SOS: For the first time, Google has brought satellite connectivity to its A-series. This allows you to text emergency services and share your location even when you have no cellular or Wi-Fi signal.
-
Brighter Display & Tougher Glass: The screen brightness has been boosted to 3,000 nits, matching the standard Pixel 10. It also upgrades to Gorilla Glass 7i, which offers significantly better drop protection than the older glass used on the 9a.
-
Android 16 Out-of-the-Box: The 10a is the first mid-range phone to ship with Android 16. It includes the new "Desktop Mode" (similar to Samsung DeX) which allows you to plug the phone into a monitor for a full PC-like experience.
-
7 Years of Updates: Consistent with Google's recent promise, this device is guaranteed to receive OS and security updates until March 2033.
Current Pricing & Colors
The Pixel 10a holds its aggressive starting price of $499. It is available in four colors: Obsidian, Fog (off-white), Lavender, and the vibrant new Berry (a deep, saturated red).
